How Does the Hitch Extender HE06 Affect Towing Capacities
Question:
I am thinking about adding an extension to my trailer but I am towing a car, not a boat. The trailer has four wheels and is pretty well balanced but Im still concerned because it says you lose 33 weight reduction. I dont know what the original weight is. Any help or advise would be great. Thanks.

The hitch extender part # HE06 will cut the capacity of the hitch it is used on by 50 percent.
To determine the overall weight of your trailer you could take it to a weight station.
To determine the tongue weight you can check out the help article I attached that covers how to do this.
