Fuse Installation To Power Up Brake Controller In 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500booster  

Question:

Is there a fuse I need to install to make my booster work my new truck came with the plug but chevy want install it due to insurance reasons

If the controller isn't getting power once you've plugged it in using the factory or the # 3016 aftermarket pigtail, there is a fuse that will need to be installed in the fuse box located under the hood. A micro J-Case fuse needs to be installed in position # 1, which will power up the brake controller. Your owner's manual or the diagram on the fuse box lid will show you where fuse location # 1 is located.
