Can a Titan Model 10 Actuator for Drum Brakes be Converted to Disc Brakes
Question:
Dear Sirs, We have a fleet of trailers using Titan 10 # 2477600 with hydraulic drum brakes. We are looking to upgrade to hydraulic disk brakes for our entire fleet. I know that Disk brakes require more pressure for operation, of about 1500 psi, about 50 higher than drum brakes requirement of 1000 psi. Can I upgrade my actual actuators to disk brakes by installing the Replacement Master Cylinder Assembly for Titan Model 10 and Model 20 Brake Actuators - Discinch # 4749501042?

Yes, you can swap out the master cylinder of your Titan model 10 actuator to the part # T4749501042 that you referenced so that it would operate a set of disc trailer brakes.
