Hopkins Agility Trailer Brake Controller # HM47295 Has Small Dot Light Always On

Hello, I installed Hopkins agility brake controller on my 2014 Honda odyssey. The small dot light is always on even when trailer is not connected and even the car switch is off. Is it ok? If not, how can I fix it or what should do? Thank you

I spoke with my technical contact at Hopkins and it sounds like two wires may have gotten switched around during the installation of the Agility Trailer Brake Controller # HM47295. I recommend double checking your connections by testing the wires for function with a circuit tester, like part # PTW2993.
From the information that I was able to obtain on the 2014 Honda Odyssey, this will most likely be your wiring combination:
White wire on brake controller to black wire on Odyssey for ground.
Black brake controller wire to blue wire on Odyssey for 12-volt power.
Blue wire on controller to brown wire with white stripe on Odyssey for brake output.
Red wire on controller to white wire with black stripe for input from the stop light switch.
