Can a Damaged Diversi-Tech Self-Locking Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount # DTALBM7025-2S Be Repaired

I purchased the DTALBM7025-25, and I had an accident and bent it. Can I send it in to be fixed or will I need to purchase another one. The best hitch I have ever owned works great for every trariler I own. Thanks

If your Diversi-Tech Self-Locking Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount # DTALBM7025-2S has been bent/damaged in an accident you will need to replace it, I'm sorry to say. The kind of stress put on the aluminum in a situation like yours is likely to have done permanent damage, some of which may not necessarily be visible to the eye. Even if it were possible to straighten it there could easily be hidden damage (in the form of small fractures) that could cause the unit to fail to meet its specs.

Unfortunately there is no way to know except to use it, which I cannot recommend.

Your personal and liability risks could be substantial if you re-used this part after it was bent from an impact.
