Does Ventline S0721 RV Range Hood w/ Light # S0721-22WD-F-1 Have to be Mounted Under Cabinet

Question:

Im interested in purchasing Ventline S0721 Series RV Range Hood w/ Light - 12V Fan - 12x20 - Stainless. I know it is meant to be attached to a cabinet or a microwave. Here is a photo that shows how I was hoping to install it: You can see in this photo it isnt attached to either of those. Do you have recommendations for how I can achieve a similar installation? Thank you.

Although the Ventline S0721 Series RV Range Hood with Light, # S0721-22WD-F-1, was designed to be mounted under a 22 inch wide x 12 inch deep cabinet, as long as your alternate mounting surface is strong enough to hold the vent you shouldn't have any problems.

Since this will be a custom installation, you will have to determine the best way to route the vent through the sidewall of your trailer and where to access the electrical to power the fan.

This vent will require the use of a dampered exterior wall vent like the Ventline, # V2111-13.
