How to Find the Brake Light Switch Circuit for Installing a Brake Controller

Can you tell me the exact wire to tape into for the brake controller red wire. The red attaches to the brake pedal wire that sends the signal to the controller when the vehicle brake pedal is pressed. Thanks

The most reliable way to find the brake light signal to use for installing a brake controller is to use a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 to test all of the wires going to the brake pedal switch for voltage only when the brakes are applied and none when released. That would be the correct circuit to use for the red wire of your brake controller.
