Mounting Option for 7-Way Wiring Harness on 2005 Nissan Xterra with Curt Class III Trailer Hitch
Question:
I will be purchasing the Curt Hitch #13514 and the 7pt Harness with relays # 118266. The video for the Harness states to purchase the mount plate # 12711U-26 for the rear harness. My question is, is there a mount plate on this Curt Hitch for the harness mount plate to attach too. In the video they have a drawtite hitch. This Curt one looks rounded to me. My vehicle is tow prep. I took everything apart inside and underside to make sure. Thanks ever so much.

I have a mounting option for you, but the Curt Trailer Hitch, # 13514, does not have a built in mounting bracket for part # PK12711U. Instead, I recommend using our no-drill mounting bracket, part # C57202, along with the mounting bracket you referenced, # PK12711U. The no-drill bracket will wrap around the round tube crossmember of the hitch to provide a mounting point for the 7-way bracket.
