Wiring Harness Recommendation for 1990 Geo Tracker

Question:

Item # 118372 trailer wiring harness. will this work on my 1990 geo tracker. I found the factory wiring connector, 6-pin, 3 pins down each side, located by the rear tail light. If not, any ideas?

I have a trailer wiring harness that will work on your 1990 Geo Tracker, but we cannot guarantee the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, # 118372, will fit your vehicle. This harness was designed to fit the 1996-1997 Geo Tracker.

The wiring harness we recommend is the Tow Ready Universal Wiring Harness, # 119178KIT. To install this harness, you will have to gain access to your vehicles tail light wires and splice-in by function. Your tail light wires will not match the wires on the Tow Ready harness color for color, so I strongly recommend testing the wires using the included circuit tester before making any connections. I have attached the installation instructions for you.
