to measure for the correct rise or drop needed to tow a trailer level the hitch will have to first be installed. When it is make sure your 2006 Saturn Relay and trailer are on level ground. On the vehicle, measure from the ground up to the top of the receiver opening. On the trailer, make sure that it is level and measure from the ground up to the bottom of the coupler.
If the vehicle is higher the difference between the 2 measurements is the amount of drop you will need. If the trailer is higher the difference will be the amount of rise you will need.
When we installed hitch # 13336 on a similar vehicle the measurement from the ground to the top of the receiver was 13-3/4 inches. It should be close to this on your Relay.
I have linked a video showing installation. I can tell you that getting the vehicle up as high as you can at the back will make installation easier. Also having an assistant will makes things easier. I have included a link to our help articles on ball mounts and hitch installation tips.
