Tips for Inserting Pin of Trailer Hitch Pin and Clip
Question:
We are having a problem with the pin and clip, the clip hits the hitch and cannot be pushed all the sevured as it hits the hitch, not sure what to do

To get the clip of the included pin and clip of the Curt Hitch part # C11124 you will need to basically just need to try various angles of the pin while trying to insert the clip so that you can eventually find the right angle/orientation of the clip so that it will insert all the way into the pin.
You may even try running it up from underneath the safety chain loop if there is access there.
You should also note that you don't have to fully insert the pin. You just need to get it to the middle hump of the pin.
