Trailer Hitch and Trailer Wiring Connector for a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid
Question:
I need a trailer hitch and wire harness for a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid. Please note that the truck has backup alerts. Your web site recommends using a modulite but does not indicate a product number. Please recommend a hitch and the required wiring harness\modulite required.

I would recommend the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch, part # 13650. It has a 2 inch receiver opening and a 3,500 lb towing capacity. You can view the install details and see an install video by clicking the provided links.
Since your Escape has the back up sensors, you would need to use part # 118551 for the trailer wiring.
