Should there be a Small Amount of Voltage on Curt Brake Controller Red Wire on 2013 Kia Sorento
Question:
Thank-you for your last response. The other question I have. With the power off on my vehicle that red wire shows +/- 1v is that normal? The controller is a Tri-flex.

Expert Reply:
Yes that is normal. The power you are seeing is dead voltage, no amperage draw, and is normal for Curt brake controllers like the TriFlex, # C24VV, on your 2013 Kia Sorento.
