Troubleshooting Vehicle Running Light Not Functioning After Trailer Wiring Install
Question:
Every light works except for the left tail light on the car and both tail lights on the trailer. The car tail light went out when I connected the T connector. I realize that the tail light power comes off the left vehicle tail light. Would connecting a jumper to the right tail light????

Both of your vehicle taillights (the circuit on when head lights and running lights are on), are powered by the same circuit. If the T-connector being connected on the # 118376 caused the taillight to go out then I would try unplugging the connector and then replugging it back in as most likely the pins just aren't seated right.
Getting this circuit to work right will also most likely allow the taillights of your trailer to start working as well.
Running a jumper wire will work as a Band-Aid, but a better solution would be to get the # 118376 to work.
