i have a 2010 sierra 1500 pick up truck with a trailer hitch. will this model work for my truck.

Yes, as long as the factory installed hitch on your 2010 Sierra 1500 Pickup has a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver opening the SportRack 4 Bike Hitch Mounted Rack w Wheel Mount Cradles for 2 inch Hitch, item # A30902, will work on your truck.

The only thing to consider with this 4 bike rack is the tongue weight capacity of your hitch and truck. The weight of the bike rack, 60 pounds, and the weight of all of the bikes and accessories attached to them cannot exceed the tongue weight capacity of your hitch or truck.

You may also want to consider the SportRack Hitch and Cable Lock - Keyed Alike, item # A32022, to protect the bike rack and bikes when you are away from the vehicle and when they are on the truck.
