When it comes to using a weight distribution system on a boat trailer, which typically has a straight pole tongues, we will need to start with an adapter. For this you will want to use Reese Pole-Tongue Adapter, # RP58393. This adapter will work with the Reese round-bar, trunnion-bar and Steadi-Flex weight-distribution systems but because your trailer is equipped with surge brakes it would narrow down your options to a SC system.

A key component to choosing the correct weight distribution system is knowing the trailer's exact tongue weight. Tongue weight is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. The ideal situation is to have the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use. Since you mention the tongue weight being 600 lbs, I recommend the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System with Sway Control, # RP66559. This system is designed for trailers with tongue weights from 400 to 800 lbs and includes everything needed except for a hitch ball, # A-90 for 2 inch and # 19286 for 2-5/16 inch.

I do recommend checking with the trailer manufacturer to make sure that your trailer can be used with a weight distribution system and also check the hitch on your Trailblazer for it's weight distribution rating.
