Replacement Hubs for Old Trailer That Uses Inner and Outer Bearing LM67048

Question:

I have an old trailer. I want to replace the hubs on it. They are 5 lug hubs. The spindle is 1 1/4inch diameter. The bearing # is LM 67048 for both inner and outer. The race # LM 67010 and the Seal number is 14972. If you could provide me with the information for replacement hubs I would appreciate it.

First, thank you for providing those important details about your trailer.

Bearing part # LM67048 is a common OUTER bearing for 6- and 8-lug hubs, but as an INNER bearing we offer only one 4-on-5 agricultural hub that takes this item as its inner bearing. That hub is part # AH15450ECOMP.

I presume that you got the bearing part numbers from the original parts. Given the trailer's age it may be that someone previously substituted a different bearing for what was originally installed. If that were the case and if the hubs were damaged these would be a potential cause and effect of the different part.

You will be better off installing a new axle kit with all new hubs, bearings, races, etc. I have linked our page for complete leaf spring axle kits which are available in 2000-lb and 3500-lb ratings and with or without electric brakes.

For idler hubs with a 5-on-4-1/2 bolt pattern and 60-inch axle beam we have kit # 20545I-EZ-60-15. In a 72-inch axle kit we have # 20545I-EZ-72-15.

You can use the filers on the page to select the axle dimensions and capacity in the bolt pattern you need.
