Troubleshooting 2003 Chevy Silverado Trailer Wiring Turn Signal Not Functioning
Question:
I have the factory hitch with the 7 way trailer light/electric brake plug. All the lights on the trailer function as they should except for the right turn signal. The right rear turn signal light works fine. I removed the connector from the back of the 7 way plug and tested the blade for the right turn signal. No voltage. So if the light on the truck is working but no power is getting to the trailer plug, where is the next place in the circuit to test? Thank You.

Sounds like you have a blown fuse under the hood of your 2003 Chevy Silverado. The truck will have trailer wiring fuses/relays that are separate from the truck's turn signal fuses. That is why your truck's turn signals are working but the trailer wiring isn't.
