Hitch Recommendation for a 2015 Mazda 3 Hatchback

Question:

Im in the market for a hitch to fit a 2015 Mazda 3 Grand Touring hatchback 5 door. I note that the Curt and Draw Tite hitches you offer have substantially different mounting brackets and that the Curt appears to have a round tube vs. the square tube construction of the Draw Tite. So my question is: how to choose? Also, whats the impact of LED tail lights on the hitch? I should think that would only impact the wiring. Thanks for your help.

For your 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback either the Curt Hitch part # C11377 that you referenced or the Draw Tite hitch part # 24914 would work well for you. I personally like the round tube hitches because I believe they are less visible than the square tube hitches, so I would go with the Curt hitch.

You are right, the LED taillight consideration is actually for the trailer wiring and not the hitch. But since we connect the hitch and the trailer wiring fitguides so that on the product page of the hitch the correct wiring kit is listed we list it like that.
