Brake Lights on Trailer and 2002 Ford F-350 Stopped Working After Fixing Bad Trailer Ground
Question:
I was working on a trailer that a bad ground. After that was resolved I went to pull out and found I no longer had brake lights on truck or trailer. Nothing on the truck when unplugged either. This is a 2002 f350 7.3 diesel. Ive confirmed there is no fuse box under the hood ardd many have suggested. Im familiar with this, my old goat had a secondary fuse under the heis. Any advise in fuse locations for brakes would be of great help. I pulled every fuse under the steering column that Saud anything about brakes with no avail. Everything else works.

On your 2002 Ford F-350 the fuse panel is in the cab of the truck like you said. If all of the fuses are good then it is likely a bad relay. In the fuse panel location 6 is a the turn/stop relay, location 18 is the turn/brake on/off switch relay, location 34 is the brake on/off switch fuse. Any relay or fuse that says trailer tow or has anything to do with brakes is what you will want to check.
Checking fuses is easy but for relays the easiest way is to use a known good relay in place of a potential bad one.
