Will Camco Replacement Lid for Elixir RV Roof Vents # CAM40156 Fit 1992 Class C Motor Home
Question:
My RV is a 1992 C class all original with Elixir vents. it states Elixir on the screens. But the center rail on mine has two screws on either side for the center rail, and it seems to work with a piece sliding back and forth along bent tracks in the rail. Will these work in replacement for mine? The one you sell looks like it should have something in the center of the center rail to slide it up and down. Thanks.

The Camco Replacement Lid for Elixir RV Roof Vents # CAM40156 is a fit for pre-1994 Elixir branded roof vents. This part has a metal track riveted in place with a channel for the lid opening mechanism. Please see the linked photo. I also included a link to all trailer roof vent replacement lids.
Given the age of the RV and the original vent it may be time for a new one if you cannot find the correct replacement part among the available items shown. We no longer have the operation arm that lifts the lid.
A second link will show you all complete vent assemblies for 14-1/4 x 14-1/4-inch roof openings. These are offered in metal, in a range of colors in plastic, and with or without a powered fan.
You'll need an installation kit to mount a new vent, either # 344270KITW for metal or coated metal roofs or part # CAM25013 for a rubberized roof.
