Trailer Wiring Adapter to Mate Vehicle 4-Pole Flat Connector to 6-Way Trailer Side Connector
Question:
Have a situation - My daughter has a 2013 Toyota Highlander w/ trailer wiring - 4-pole flat female plug in - dealer installed. My trailers have 6-pole RV male plug. Questions - Do you have available a adapter - 6-pole RV female to 4-pole flat male, to connect the two? Or, do you have a recommended combo receptacle - 6-pole RV and 4-pole flat, and a bracket, that I could install with the existing receptacle wiring, by cutting the end off and splicing to the new part. Thanks in advance for your help.

We do offer wiring adapters to mate vehicles and trailers that have different types of trailer wiring.
If your trailers have a round 6-way then you can use Hopkins part # 37175 which gives you BOTH a 4-pole and a 6-way round receptacle in one product. Or for just a 6-way round socket you can use the Mighty Cord # A10-6034VP.
If your trailer uses a square format like Jayco you can instead use # 30104.
We always suggest using dielectric grease like # 11755 to help protect electrical connections by blocking entry of dirt and water than can over time cause corrosion.
