Quarter Inch Play in Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
Question:
When assembling the springs, I notice a lot 1/4inch or more play after the bolts are tight. The bolts do not go through the nut welded inside the bracket. Do I need to get e tap to clean up the threads or is this correct? Seems awful sloppy.

I spoke with my contact at Timbren and he said more than likely you have not tightened the bolts all the way. He said you are probably hitting the locking mechanism of the lock nut, so you will want to keep tightening the bolts until the gap is reduced to zero.
