How to Determine Correct Replacement Grease Seal

Question:

I would like 4 double lip axle grease seals for my trailer, problem is Im not sure what size I need. Just wondering if you can cross reference my trailer and be able to get the right seal for me? Its 2011 Keystone Sprinter 308BHS. Thanks for your help!

If you have the bearing numbers and the axle capacity, we may be able to find the right seal for your trailer. If not, you will need to take an accurate measurement of the outside diameter of your existing seal, or the inside diameter of the mounting surface for the seal in the hub.

You will also need to get an accurate measurement of the spindle at the seal surface. I have attached a photo that shows the areas you will need to measure. You will need a precision instrument like a dial caliper to determine the correct grease seal for your hub and spindle.

Most likely you will need the 10-19 grease seals, # RG06-050, but I would still measure just to be sure the measurements match up. Your trailer typically uses either 3,500 lb or 4,400 lb AL-KO axles and this is the only grease seal that fits those axles.
