Can 2015 Ford F-150 Supercrew Cab, 6-1/2 Foot Bed, 4X4, 3.5L EcoBoost Tow a 10,000 Pound 5th Wheel
Question:
I am buying a Jayco 29.5 BHDS Fifth Wheel. The GVWR is 9950LB. The pick-up truck that serves me best is the 2015 Ford F-150 Supercrew Cab 6.5foot bed, 4X4 Engine is 3.5L GTDI V6. Will this pick-up do the job?

Based on the information from Ford you would have to make sure that the truck has the 3.31 or higher rear end axle ratio to have enough towing capacity to tow a nearly 10,000 pound trailer with the 2015 Ford F-150 Supercrew with 6-1/2 foot bed, 4x4, with the 3.5 liter EcoBoost motor.
Since the truck has the short bed you will need to have a slider 5th wheel hitch. If you choose an 8 foot bed then you would not have to use a slider hitch.
For an installation kit you can use # RP50087-58. For a slider hitch you can use # RP30075 which is rated for 16,000 pounds and has 11 inches of travel to help make tighter turns.
If you go with an 8 foot bed then the fixed version of he above hitch is # RP30047.
