Does E-Coat on Disc Trailer Brake Rotors have to Be Removed where Pads Touch Rotor

Does the coating need sanded off where the pads contact the rotors or does it burn off with use?

On a brake rotor with E-coat or any finish you do not have to do anything to remove the coating. Trying to remove it could result in damage to the rotor and affect braking performance. So all you would have to do is install the brakes, bleed the system, and you're done!
