Will Kuat NV Bike Carrier Clear Rear Bumper on 2000 Subaru Outback with Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch
Question:
Will this hitch work well with a Kuat NV bike rack on a 2000 Subaru Outback wagon? My main concern is whether the hitch opening is too far forward from the back end of the bumper. That is, will the hitch be recessed too far for this bike rack? Thanks!

On Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 36284 it measures approximately 6 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole back to clear the rear bumper on a 2000 Subaru Outback Wagon. The Kuat NV, # NV12G for 1-1/4 inch hitches, sticks out 7-7/8 inches to the nearest part of the carrier when folded up and 10-1/2 inches when folded down so it will clear the rear of the Outback.
