Towing a 2009 Mobile Suites 5th Wheel Trailer More Level

Question:

I have a 2009 Mobile Suites RV with Lippert Components on my sliders and axles. I need to lift the right. The axle unit looks like I could lower it by the center bolt. Can I do this or do you have a lift kit so my trailer will pull mor level? I also asked Double Tree for any schematics for my bedroom slider and they said to contact you.

I am not sure why a manufacturer would assume we have schematics for their product but I am humbly honored that they would point you to us.

I might not have the schematics you are looking for but I can help with ways to tow the trailer more level. First, on most 5th wheel trailers and hitches the pin box on the trailer can be adjusted up and down as needed as can the hitch in the truck. If making these adjustments does not get the trailer level then there are additional options.

If the trailer uses double-eye leaf spring suspension you can move the leaf spring stacks above the axles (if they aren't already) to make the back of the trailer higher. You can use an over under conversion kit, # K71-384-00 for a 2-3/8 inch diameter round axle or # K71-385-00 for a 3 inch diameter round axle. One kit is needed per axle.

If the leaf spring stacks are already on top of the axles then you can have a professional welder cut off the existing hangers and weld on taller hangers so the back of the trailer sits higher. I have included a link to the hanger main page for you.
