Can Timbren Axle-Less Suspension be Added to a Trailer with a Straight Axle

Can I add an axles suspention to a trailer that has a spring ride axle if so do I add to front or rear ox existing spring ride axle Im adding weight to single axle trailer and need braking system

You can add a Timbren axle-less suspension system to your trailer but you have to choose one carefully so that the tires hang at the same height as the regular axle. You will also need one that has the same capacity as the axle now so that there is little to no difference is the suspension.

You can put the system forward or rearward of the existing axle but it will depend on where the additional weight is going to be and how long the trailer is. I have included a picture with a formula that explains how to determine where the center point should be on a tandem axle trailer that you can use.

If you go with # A35RD545E the trailer will need to have a 7-Way connector, such as # PK12706. The tow vehicle will also need a 7-Way connector and a brake controller. I will need to know the year, make, and model of the tow vehicle to make recommendations (unless you already have a 7-Way and brake controller).
