Is Wiring Harness Needed to Install Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller in 2013 GMC Sierra
Question:
I had a voyager installed when I bought my toy hauler, as mounted it is a hazard to my wifes leg as she is only 4ft 8in tall, I would like to upgrade to a Prodigy 2 inch for the ability to mount it in a convenient and safe location. Is the voyager hard wired or does it have a plug in the rear of the unit and if so is the plug compatible with the Prodigy 2 or will the wiring need to be changed ?

Your Tekonsha Voyager brake controller # 39510 probably installs in your 2013 GMC Sierra with a pigtail wiring harness # TM75127. Older units were hardwired. With this harness already in place in your truck your installation of the excellent Prodigy P2 brake controller # 90885 will be a simple plug-in process. The existing wiring harness will plug in to the back of the P2 with no other parts needed.
