Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Carrier that is Easy to Install for a 2013 Honda CR-V
Question:
I have a 2013 Honda CRV and would like a rack that is easy to put on. I will be using it for only one bike. Any suggestions would be great appreciated. Thank you.

If your 2013 Honda CR-V has a 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch I recommend the Kuat Beta, # B202-114. This carrier will be very easy to put in the hitch or remove because it weighs only 12-3/5 pounds. To use it in a 2 inch hitch you would also need shank adapter # D101.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
