Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2015 Hyundai Elantra

Hello - What rack or set up would you recommend for bike rack on a 2015 Hyundai Elantra GT with a panoramic sunroof to carry a bike weighing 45lbs without a top cross bar and one or two additional bikes? Thank you.

First you will need to start with a hitch for your 2015 Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback. For that the most popular option we have that would work great would be the Draw-Tite Sportframe # 24905. Since this is a Class I hitch you can only carry up to 2 bikes with this hitch.

Since you have such a heavy bike and only Class I hitches fit your vehicle you only really have one option for a bike rack. You would want the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack part # TH23JV. This rack will fit the hitch well, has plenty of capacity, and attaches to the bike's wheels so your alternative framed bike would work well. Check out the review video I attached as well.
