Spare Tire and Rim Needed for 1998 Jayco Eagle 30 FT Travel Trailer with ST205/75R15 Tires
Question:
I recently purchased a 1998 Jayco Eagle 30ft travel trailer and I need to pick up a spare tire for it. It currently has Goodyear Marathon Radial tires ST205/75R15 with a 5 bolt pattern rim. Do I need a specific rim, or are the 5 bolt trailer rims a universal fit?

The first thing that you will want to do is to determine your bolt pattern. We know that there are 5 lugs but we will also need to know the diameter of the circle the lugs sit on. I have included an article which covers this.
It is always recommended that your tires should match, meaning the same size, load range, and construction of tire on a trailer. If you use tires that don't match, you could experience problems of overloading and overheating, which can lead to tire failure but since this will only be used for a spare it won't be as big of a concern for them to match exactly.
I have attached a link to all of the ST205/75R15 tire and rim combos that we offer. Once you have determined your bolt pattern you can use the filters on the page to begin narrowing the search.
