Backup camera Recommendation to Use Behind a 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
Ive been reading your information on the swift hitch SH02 and the rampage 7710. If I supply a long enough USB cable to keep the rampage 7710 charging within the rear of my camper, will it work while charging? Ultimately, I want a camera that will be looking out through the rear window of my fifth wheel for backing and for monitoring my boat while towing.

I don't think the Rampage wireless back up camera system # RA7710 is the best option. The length of the USB cable would have to be so long that I am not confident that the proper voltage/amperage would make it back to the camera to affectively charge it.
That is why I recommend going with the Swift Hitch, # SH02DIGITAL for an 8 hour battery or, even better, # SH03D with 2 cameras and 10 hour batteries. While you would run into the same potential problem with a long wire to charge while in use, the 10 hour battery life should make it so you won't have to worry about charging while driving. Either of these camera systems are really going to be the best option.
