Helpful Expert Reply:
A flat towing wiring harness cannot be plugged in to your Liberty's standard 4-pole trailer wiring harness, the one that you would use to tow a trailer. Flat tow wiring needs to remain separate from the toad's own trailer wiring. A magnetic tow light kit like Hopkins #C6304 makes for quick and easy installation without having to interfere with existing trailer wiring.
For powering a supplementary braking system such as the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR while your toad's battery is shut off for flat towing you can use the Roadmaster 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332. This wires directly to your toad's battery and provides 20-amp capacity, plenty for the Patriot.
