Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2011 Nissan Murano

Question:

Will my 2011 Nissan Murano be able to handle the TH56BV Raceway which carries 3 bikes? It didn't show up in list of carriers that fit my car, it just showed the TH45JV Raceway that carries 2. I'd really prefer the one that holds 3 unless that is too much weight. Thank you!

Thule does not recommend the use of their 3 bike trunk racks on your 2011 Nissan Murano, so even though the # TH56BV would fit (since the # TH45JV is listed as a fit), I can't recommend you carry 3 bikes with this rack.

There is a trunk mounted bike rack that has been confirmed to fit your vehicle that can carry 3 bikes though. The Hollywood Rack Over the Top part # HRF2-3 has been confirmed to fit your vehicle so I would recommend it for you. I attached a review video for you to check out as well.

If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
