Brake Controller Installation on 2005 Nissan Pathfinder
Question:
I have a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder with the factory tow package. It only has a four flat connector at the rear, but it looks to have the additional plug on the frame rail for the 7-way plug. I have a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 that I got from you last year. I am having difficulty figuring out which wiring I need to wire in the controller and a 7-way plug. I would also need an additional bracket for the P3 so I can switch it between vehicles. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Since you have the factory tow package, you can use part # 118267. However some of the Pathfinders were made with different style connectors than the connector that comes with this harness. If the connectors on your vehicle do not match the gray and black connectors on this harness, you can cut the connectors off and splice the wires into the factory wiring using quick connects.
Please note that you will want to splice by function, not by color.
