Left Trailer Brakes Lock Up When Connected to Truck
Question:
Had a controller installed on one of two trucks I own of which I planned to use with a tandem trailer that has e brakes. When plugged into the truck that previously had a controller, everything works fine. When I plug into pick up with new controller just installed, the left tires locks up while right moves freely. This locking happens without touching the brake peddle. When I do press the peddle the controller just displays a dot and doesnt show for example2.5 and such. The real confusing thing for me is that this new controller functions properly on another similarly set up trailer.

Since the right side trailer brakes on your trailer seem to be working correctly the issue is likely to be a matter of adjusting the left-side brake assemblies. Electric brakes have a star-shaped adjustment wheel under the magnet. This can be used to set the braking pressure.
