Are Base Rails a Required for use with a Curt Q16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider on Ford F-350
Question:
Does this manual slider fit the 2015 ford super duty 63/4 bed oem fifth wheel prep package with out the use of the rails. If not is there any manual sliders that do or is my only choice a auto slider like a pull rite super glide or a demo that uses the oem puck system.

The Curt Q16 fifth wheel slider hitch # C16521 you referenced will need and the Reese adapter # RP30156 because it is compatible with the factory installed prep package from Ford.
Since you have the factory prep package, I recommend the Reese fifth wheel # RP30144 because it will fit right into your existing pucks and provides the slide feature you want. The vertical load limit is 4,500 pounds with slider travel 10-inches front to back.
