Trailer Hitch for a 2012 Mercedes R350 BlueTec

Question:

Will this hitch also fit the Mercedes 2012 R350 Blue Tech diesel model? Also, where is the best place to get the hitch installed once I buy it? I doubt that a dealer would do the work but I am afraid to trust non-Mercedes technicians, especially since some wiring work is needed too.

Curt trailer hitch # C13103 is listed as a fit for the 2012 Mercedes R350 BlueTec models. The installation is fairly straightforward so a trusted mechanic or RV dealer that has a service center could perform the hitch installation for you.

For wiring, we have the ZCI No-Splice Wiring Harness, # 119250KIT, that will fit your Mercedes.

I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
