How to Determine if a Vehicle Has Enough Capacity to Tow Another Vehicle on a Tow Dolly

Question:

I have a 2007 Chevy Uplander and I want to tow a 87 Chevy Silverado with just a tow dolly. The Silva Rado has no transmission or motor will my van be able to tow it?? Im going from Eugene Oregon to Gig Harbor Washington

In order to determine if your 2007 Chevy Uplander could tow your 1987 Chevy Silverado on a tow dolly like the # RM-2050-1 you are going to need to check the towing capacities of the Uplander in the owners manual of the vehicle as well as determine how much the truck will weigh when ready to tow.
