can I replace a 235/80/16 with a 235/85/16 tire?

You should have no problem replacing a 235/80/16 with a 235/85/16. The only difference will be that the 235/85 will be a little bit over half an inch taller in overall diameter (.7 to be exact). Both tire sizes fit the same rim sizes.
