Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler for a 2013 Ram 2500 Diesel
Question:
I have a 2013 Ram 2500 w/Cummins diesel. Would this cooler be appropriate for my truck? I tow upwards of 9k lbs. in steep mountain roads. I already have the factory fin coolers for each up front w/radiator, but at 15 mph I dont get the air flow as I would cruising on hwy. I wish to see the tranny and engine run cooler when Im working them hard. Is there a better ion of coolers, perhaps? In terms of degrees, how much cooling can I expect with such a unit? Thank you,

A remote cooler such as # D15230 would be the ideal solution for exactly what you are needing on your 2013 Ram 2500. It will provide the optimum amount of cooling no matter what speed you are going or where it is mounted.
It is hard to put an exact figure on how much cooler it will make the fluids. I had a regular aftermarket cooler on a car and saw temperatures drop as much as 20 degrees. A remote cooler will be at least at this level and likely better.
With this cooler I also recommend the install kit and thermostat fan control # D15752.
