Bought a wiring kit, recently not sure where the plug goes.

To see how the Curt Wiring Harness part # C56217 would install in your 2015 Toyota Highlander you will want to check out the install video that shows this harness being installed in a 2015 Highlander just like yours.
The connections are made right behind the rear threshold of the rear hatch. The storage compartments at the rear of the vehicle will need to be removed to access this.
