Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2010 Ford F-150 4X4 STX

Question:

I was told theres a place behind the front bumper, under the hood, to mount a hitch. Is this possible?

It may be possible that there is an OEM or dealer option that allows for a front mount trailer hitch receiver to be installed directly behind the bumper of your 2010 Ford F-150 STX 4x4 so that the receiver is higher up. But the aftermarket hitches will all attach to the frame rails and be below the front bumper on the truck.

We have a couple of options for your truck including Curt front mount receiver # C31068 and Draw-Tite # 65061. I have linked a video showing installation of the Curt hitch for you to view.
