What 175/80-13 Tires are Recommended For Pop-Up Camper, Bias or Radial
Question:
I plan to purchase new tires for my popup camper. The tires that are currently on the camper are Duro B78-13ST, ST175/80D13. I want to buy load range D tires and am interested in the Karrier AM10210 and the Loadstar AM1ST77. My rim size is 13x4.5. Which of these tires if either should I go with? Is there another tire I should look at?

Expert Reply:
Either the Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D, # AM10210, or the Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire - Load Range D, # AM1ST77, will work on your camper, but I would recommend the Karrier radial. It will give you a smoother ride than the bias tire and better stability with the newer design continous rib tread design.
