I have an older model Reese 14k hitch and need rails and pins for my husbands truck, its a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 1/2 ton with a 6ft bed, any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

We have exactly what you need. For a fifth wheel install rail kit for your husband's 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a short bed you would want the part # RP50064-58. This is a custom install rail kit that will minimize drilling and will cut install time in half.

The hitch you submitted a picture of is a stationary hitch. Since you have a short bed truck you are going to want to get at slider hitch so that you will have enough clearance to make tight turns. Otherwise the trailer will hit the cab of your truck around tight turns.

For an economical option to replace what you have you would want the Reese Slider hitch part # RP30051.
