Hardware for Reese Semi-Custom 5th Wheel Install Kit for a 2010 Toyota Tundra 5-1/2 Foot Bed
Question:
I just purchased a fifth wheel travel trailer and a reese 16k hitch to pull with my 2010 tundra with a 5 foot 5 inch bed. The hitch I purchased was used and came with the rails the L brackets but no bolts, spacers and wedges. Do you sell the bolt and wedge kit and if so what is the price and part number so i can order?

For a Reese universal 5th wheel installation kit the hardware you will need is # RP58430. But for your 2010 Toyota Tundra with the 5-1/2 foot bed you will also need spacer kit # RP58309. I have included installation instructions for the spacer kit for you.
On a bed shorter than 6 feet like yours you will have to use a Sidewinder replacement pin box to get the clearance needed to make tight turns without hitting the truck cab and trailer together. A slider hitch will not offer enough travel and even if it did you would have to remove the tailgate to use it.
Sidewinders only fit certain pin boxes. I have included a link to our informational article on Sidewinders that also contains a chart that shows the Sidewinders and the pin boxes they replace.
