Sway Control Recommendation for Sportsmen 14RB Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a 14rbc camper, single axle. Tongue weight isnt much but it tends to sway easily with the wind on the freeway. I tow with a 02 Ford Sport Trac. Which equalizer and stabilizer combo do you recommend?

You can do two things to help reduce travel trailer sway.
First, you can try loading your gear in the camper further forward. This will increase tongue weight and reduce the tendency for the camper's rear end to sway. The more of the trailer's weight that is forward of the axle the less likely it is that the rear end will start its own travel plans!
Another step you can take is to install a friction sway control unit like the ProSeries # 83660. This unit can mount on either side of your trailer tongue and includes the required hardware. You'll just need to add a sway-control bracket, # RP26003 for a 2-inch ball mount.
You should not need a weight distribution system like # PS49583 that you referenced unless your Explorer suffers rear end sag or its headlights point upward.
