Recommended Safety Cables for Flat Towing with 2015 Ford F-350

Question:

Hello I have a ford f-350 2015 with a reese titan2 1/2 receiver and the reese 48 inch tow bar my question is would the 40inc vinyls coated safety cable with the Clavis Hook work for this tow bar pt number dl20119 or what cable would you recommend or do you think a chain would be better if so witch one would you recommend. The flat towing safety cables that I most often recommend are the 68-inch Roadmaster Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643. These are long enough to give you plenty of slack for making connections but their coiled design means they won't drag on the ground. Please click on the linked video for more information.

When flat towing cables are preferred over chains as they will tend to interfere with the tow bar less and will be less likely to chip its paint, etc.
